I'm pretty sure that it's numerically impossible to use the Joe Six-pack, Hockey Mom demographic (those that are actually willing to support the Alaskan Barracuda) to overcome the number of intelligent... anyone. In addition to supporting Obama's campaign and the underlying current of sociopolitical change that it brings, I have to believe that this Rovianesque smoke and mirror political game will not see a successful third term. This brand of politics is dead and the Republicans have got to stop kicking it.Kevinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03865862476527425467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2018599141554698953.post-70028082294752012862008-10-03T10:27:00.000-07:002008-10-03T10:27:00.000-07:00One of the problems is that the average American i...One of the problems is that the average American is just not very smart. They're so disgustingly ignorant that they would rather see a white woman who's stupid just like them run the country rather than a Black man who is so obviously more qualified than his GOP counterparts. And then the smart Repubs, the ones who actually know better, throw around criticisms like the "intellectual elite," and they know it's okay because the ignorant majority of their party just can't relate to intelligent leaders like Obama and Biden. And then they rant about experience, and how Palin has executive experience and McCain is a "maverick." Not to undermine experience because I do believe it's important, but NOBODY but an incumbent President (and maybe a VP) can have the experience necessary to govern a country, but these people insist on giving that great responsiblity over to idiots like Bush, Palin, and McCain. What's the biggest difference between intelligence and experience? An experienced person learns from his own mistakes, but an intelligent person learns from other people's mistakes. I would rather elect the person who's going to get it right the first time.Keonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00301474943324904667noreply@blogger.com
